What It Does

Daily radiance, built on three roles.

The Golden Hour concept is designed around the established cosmetic uses of topical vitamin C. Final consumer claims would depend on the finished formula, concentration, stability and product testing.

01

Antioxidant support

Vitamin C helps neutralize reactive molecules associated with UV exposure and environmental stress. Market as daily antioxidant support, never as a replacement for sunscreen.

02

Brighter-looking tone

Vitamin C can interfere with pathways involved in melanin formation, supporting a more even-looking tone and the gradual appearance of faded dark spots.

03

Collagen support

Vitamin C acts as a cofactor in collagen biosynthesis. With consistent use, the product can be positioned around firmer and more resilient-looking skin, subject to formula testing.

Expectation Setting

Glow is a ritual, not an overnight promise.

AM

Apply to clean, dry skin. Follow with moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Several weeks

Visible tone and dark-spot changes require consistent use and depend on the finished formula. Individual results vary.

Protect the formula

Light, air and heat can degrade vitamin C. The amber and opaque packaging direction is functional as well as visual.

Research basis: topical vitamin C review, vitamin C and skin health review, and FDA sun-safety guidance.

Daily Rituals

Meet the light. Carry it into evening.

Golden Hour Serum is imagined as a flexible daily ritual. Exact directions would follow the final tested formula and product label.

AMFirst Light
  1. Cleanse

    Begin with clean, dry skin.

  2. Apply

Press a small amount of serum evenly across the face and neck.

  3. Moisturize

Layer with a moisturizer suited to your skin.

  4. Protect

Finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen. Vitamin C is not a sunscreen substitute.

Antioxidant support for the day ahead.

PMAfterglow
  1. Reset

Remove makeup, sunscreen and the day’s buildup.

  2. Apply

Use the serum again if recommended by the final label and comfortable for your skin.

  3. Layer thoughtfully

When using other strong actives, introduce products gradually and follow formula-specific guidance.

  4. Moisturize

Seal the ritual with a comfortable evening moisturizer.

Consistency carries the glow forward.

Start thoughtfully. Patch test new products, introduce them gradually and reduce use if irritation occurs. Individual routines and tolerance vary.

The Ritual

Light meets skin.

One drop, pressed in as the day begins.

Silhouette

A softly rounded dropper bottle balances apothecary familiarity with a modern, tactile finish.

Color story

Ivory, sand, honey, amber, olive and espresso connect product, city and season.

Display behavior

Beautiful enough to remain visible on a bathroom shelf, but quiet enough to belong in a real home.

Summersby Editions

Packaging worth keeping.

Each seasonal release features original artwork inspired by the collection, with the bottle carrying a fall watercolor design and the full artwork extending across the box. Every season, Summersby Cosmetics partners with an emerging painter or designer to create a limited-edition package made to feel as collectible as the product itself.

01

Numbered seasonal drops

Short runs make each collaboration feel intentional and collectible rather than simply decorative.

02

The artist’s story

An interior card shares the artwork, process and season through the collaborator’s point of view.

03

A growing archive

Past editions live online like book covers or luxury accessories, encouraging discovery, display and collection.

Fall Edition — The Artwork

A spiral of leaves, painted in watercolor.

The season’s painting winds up around the bottle like a gust of wind, with single leaves breaking loose from the spiral. The same artwork continues across the carton, so bottle and box read as one painting on the shelf.
